Sometimes I find I balk at traditions. I experience lack in the repetitive activities – pulling me away from the important things. At this time of year, however, I realize some traditions anchor us to matters of the soul that remain timelessly relevant. Thankfulness…one tradition that I hope to never grow tired or suspicious. Rooted in scriptural command and not man-made tradition, giving thanks is something I always need to practice knowing that gratitude guards my contentment.
Stretching the Thanksgiving holiday just a few more days to say thank you to you for your continued interest in our community and the message of abiding in the love of our Lord, today and always.
Gratefully,
Cheryl
