Denise popped out of her car with her camera ready to capture my yard in all its glory. Spring was cropping up everywhere! I expected her to go for the hanging flower basket, or the Azaleas, but instead she crouched to the ground and fiddled with her lens.

I couldn’t imagine what she was capturing – a few purple tendrils of hope in the form of Grape Hyacinths in the mist of a ground covered with dirt and grime? But then she showed me the picture and I was stunned by the result. She found that in my yard? Her trained eye was able to capture the delicate beauty of nature’s moment and leave the rest behind, literally.

Perspectives change when focus changes. It takes spiritual training. But oh, the reward that awaits! With the change in view, come all sorts of wonderful surprises for our minds, hearts and souls.
